Compact Equipment Sales Representative

Responsibilities
Miller Bradford & Risberg has created a new opportunity for our Marathon location. This position is responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through the close of the sale. This individual will work with the entire sales team to ensure we are achieving the highest customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values. The individual will be responsible for the territory in the following counties: Marathon & Wood County.

Requirements

Responsibilities
This position will report to the Parts Manager and is responsible for but not limited to:

  • Customer parts sales
  • Customer parts ordering processing
  • Telephone parts sales
  • In store sales and parts merchandising
  • Shipping and Receiving

Requirements
The ideal candidate will have equivalent experience in parts sales but we will train the right person. The candidate must have strong selling skills, excellent communication skills, excellent customer service skills and good computer and systems knowledge.

Lot Attendant

Reports to the Service Manager and is responsible for the customer service in the MBR equipment yard. This individual must work semi-independently.

Duties

  1. Loading and unloading equipment in the yard
    • Greet customers, check in/out equipment per procedure
    • Record all rental information per procedure
    • Complete inspection form per procedure
    • Note any damage & obtain photos per delivery and return
  2. Machine maintenance
    • Clean and power wash incoming/outgoing equipment
    • Report excessively dirty machines
    • Check fuel and DEF fluid levels – must be full upon delivery/return
    • Basic service repair: oil changes, filter changes, remove/install bracket caps and shielding
  3. Cleaning and maintenance of shop
    • Clean and maintain shop area for customer service and safety
    • Dispose of garbage and debris
    • Maintain customer areas with snow removal
  4. Customer Service
    • Assist customers or direct to appropriate person/department
    • Answer service phone when available to assist customers

Education/Training/Experience

  • High school diploma; must be at least 18 years old
  • Valid driver’s license required

Specific skill requisites

  • Strong working knowledge of equipment dealership
  • Good understanding and computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Willingness to learn and obtain new skills for advancement

Product Support Sales Representative

Responsibilities
The Product Support Sales Representative will report to the Branch Manager to build and sell the parts and services business for the territory and branch operations. This position is responsible for the coverage, retention, development and customer satisfaction within a sales territory. The Product Support Sales Rep must be able to travel to customer locations in a company vehicle to cover a large geographic sales territory.

Requirements
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school, or equivalent experience in sales, service and parts. It is required that this individual have strong selling skills and interpersonal communications skills. Valid driver`s license with acceptable driving history.
