Product Support Sales Representative Marathon

Responsibilities
The Product Support Sales Representative will report to the Branch Manager to build and sell the parts and services business for the territory and branch operations. This position is responsible for the coverage, retention, development and customer satisfaction within a sales territory. The Product Support Sales Rep must be able to travel to customer locations in a company vehicle to cover a large geographic sales territory.

Requirements
Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college/technical school, or equivalent experience in sales, service and parts. It is required that this individual have strong selling skills and interpersonal communications skills.

Compact Equipment Sales Representative

Responsibilities
Miller Bradford & Risberg has created a new opportunity for our Sussex location. This position is responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through the close of the sale. This individual will work with the entire sales team to ensure we are achieving the highest customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values. The individual will be responsible for the territory in the following counties: Waukesha and Milwaukee county.

To be successful in this role, we are searching for a candidate who exhibits:

Asphalt Product Specialist

Job Description
Customer Support and Lead Generation

  • Assist the sales team and Product Support Sales Representatives (PSSRs) in generating sales and service leads.
  • Build new business relationships to increase Miller-Bradford & Risberg (MBR) paving, milling, reclaiming, stabilization, and Heavy Tandem Roller (HTR) business.
  • Develop processes to ensure effective communication and interface with MBR's customers, aiming for the highest level of customer service.
  • Be MBR's asphalt product expert, staying up-to-date on all Bomag products, selling features, and competitive features.
  • Utilize MBR's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and vendor sites to support your position. Maintain and update all customer calls, quotes, visits, and sales in the business software to ensure accuracy and currency.
  • Provide product training to MBR customers to enhance their knowledge and usage of Bomag products.
  • Gather, analyze, and report competitive and business developments to the Vice President of Sales.
  • Attend training sessions and industry trade shows as required to stay informed about the latest developments in the field.

2) Support Internal Teams

  • Visit current Miller-Bradford & Risberg (MBR) customers and prospect locations to foster and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Assist Territory Sales Managers in conducting demonstrations, providing quotes, coordinating product deliveries, setting up equipment, and delivering training sessions for our customers.
  • Support MBR's parts departments, collaborating with the Corporate Parts Manager to ensure the availability of Initial Stock Lists (ISLs) and maintain a sufficient parts inventory to support the Bomag asphalt machine business.
  • Develop, train, and support the sales and product support team on asphalt equipment, sharing knowledge to enhance their capabilities and contribute to strengthening market share.
  • Collaborate with the Vice President of Sales to develop the annual business plan for asphalt products, as well as a 90-day forecast to guide short-term strategies and goals.

Education/Training/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred with relevant asphalt paving, milling, and/or compaction experience.
  • Knowledge of construction equipment industry a plus.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

  • Strong customer service and excellent verbal and communication skills

Additional skill requisites

  • Travel required as necessary within MBR branches and customer sites. Must be able to travel to Wisconsin, Michigan and Illinois with company vehicle.
  • Able to perform duties effectively and resolve complex business issues in the field.
  • Able to work with all sales team members in a productive relationship which benefits MBR’s customers.

This is a remote position and must be able to report into the Sussex, WI corporate branch as needed. Ideal candidate would live centrally in Wisconsin.
